I honestly cannot fathom how this duo haven’t recieved greater acknowledgement yet!
Opening with a thrumming synth texture and the sensuous moans of Lucia, ‘Pulse’ sets the tone for this amazing album. A fusion of the styles and production of both Rob Bryant (aka - https://bareisland.bandcamp.com/ ) and Lucia Ponticas - (aka - https://f3nix.bandcamp.com/ )
Brilliant producers in their own right, the union they have formed as Unknown Land is truly the best of both their worlds. Otherworldly, ethereal vocals float on a foundation of dark electronics, industrial percussive elements and trance inducing moody pads with slow eerie, reverb drenched guitar leads.
My favourite track ‘Risk’ has spine tingling backing vocals, solid stomping kicks, faded guitar distortions and wailing leads, soaring along with a powerful vocal performance by Lucia.
The lyrical content is at times, full of symbolic language, and at others, honest heartfelt repetitions, expressing much the same deep, intimate, feel of the music.
Hailing from the distant lands of Chile and Australia respectively, they represent the best in global collaborations of the internet age, and are an example of what can be done beyond the boundaries of countries and physical space.

Certainly if this is their legacy, it's one I'd be proud of, and I hope they are.
33 Degrees is something I would recomend to fans of darker synth pop, goth, 90s electronica, industrial, darkwave and even such as trip-hop, dream pop and trance due to its style fusion and vibe.
